Very glad I did a half hour treadmill today. No matter how trivial or tedious one achievement is, the only thing that essential to manage its one completion is concentration at the time, and then some persistence and interest to keep it an habit or virtue.

It is also very nice to walk the Wingra lake with the old man the whole afternoon till the dust. He proposed to walk the trails that I have never walked before and we did, and keep chatting in the withered woods, while pines still in their dark green. Jogger pass us now and then, and we walk in now hurry. January in Madison, earth are frozen and hard, air is cool and fresh. The lake is frozen as well, where people already start ski and play hockey. But Madison are indeed experience a wired warm winter, with no single serious snow accumulated in the past month. This is not normal for an Madisonian. But anyway, my dad likes it, he likes walking the lake, sighing those dead woods been sawn, left along on the ground and rotten. He said when the logs rotten and turn into, they enrich the land and the threes will growing ferociously in coming spring.

The sunset is beautiful, we cannot see the horizon, but the last whispers of light mingled with the dark embraced us, gently, and roasted.
